I gave this game a spin today, played mostly Good wife and Lesbian when I could, I guess since I didn't do filthy I didn't actually get any sex scenes? Or is this whole part just one massive build up, no gallery like other games so you don't know if you've missed anything or not. I figured I'll start a 2nd playthrough later tonight and go full filthy and see how that turns out.

to remedy the problem of the size of the game, couldn't every update make you choose to download the whole game or just the new part? example "AWAM 0.10 full version (3 gb)" or "AWAM 0.10 update only (500 mb)"

Yeah its 2020. So what? I dont think that everybody would download an adult game/novel which is 20gb or 30bg in size. Just go and see the first message under the OP. A member was shocked at this game's 1.48 gb size for a demo version. (Now dont tell me that was in 2017 and 3 years have passedView attachment 712975

Dude, the year is 2020 - games are already 100-180GB to download, and "at the end" of AWAM the year will be 2030 (at best), and we all will be at least on a 10Gb fiber by then.
Right now I'm on a 300 Mbps fiber for like 12 USD / month (1Gbps cost 17 USD / month) - believe me - 20-30GB is nothing - even today. Beside, you can always release updates as diffs.

I really want to see his response, but his initial response to finding additional help tells me he will not go for that. The only help I think he receives is the translation from German to English. So I hope he does change his mind, but I probably won't bet on that pony.

It'a a hypothetical/estimated size of a finished game 10-15 years from now. It will be absolutely nothing. BaDIK is 8GB right now with a 2GB incremental update, and they are doing great.

These images doesn't prove anything.
If you want to have the same file size, you would have to use a much more aggressive compression on the 1080p file, and each lossy compression has it's one weak points. Most of the time, the difference will not be noticeable, but the render time will be 2.25 times longer. Do you really think it's necessary?

Not the problem for me, at least the part with 1080, even back then i kinda hoped that he wont do the upgrade. Case with hiring help however, dunno.All this things have been promised 3 years ago, and we have to be fair about that one, he was thinking very ambitious back then, but 3 years passed, and well things changed. Though you want criticize him on this one, i'am not stopping you. He wrote this goals himself.

It's irrelevant what I think. It's L&P's promise, but yeah, I think 720p in 2020 is laughable.
