ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

You forgot “I’m a strong independent acid snake, in the skinsuit of a strong independent woman”
This is one of her best line too!
I just clicked the video for that line! Sadly it isn't included😕
"Real Eleanor"s absurd backstory is so much funnier with the knowledge that Vicky made it all up to make her character more interesting.
The character of Vicky is an underrated gem in a show full of gems.
Yep and that makes Trevor’s “ugh” reaction even funnier 😂
It does and Trevor's groan at the "found me in a fishtank" line can be read either way, as him acting along, or actually groaning at Vicky's over-embellished backstory.
"Aw cute. I love you too egg! :D"
This kills me everytime lol
He can’t take a hint! He’s already too involved in the morality of the egg society.
EGGS AND SANDALS EMOJI
One of my favorite lines from her is, "I am a Ferrari, and you don't keep a Ferrari in the garage."
But that's exactly what they to do Ferraris! It is the Porsches which actually get driven.
as a f1 fan fully aware of ferrari in the recent times, i can't help but chuckle
“Yada yada yada, learned English from watching Seinfeld” is a brilliant stealth joke.
Can you explain it pls
I love that yada yada thing
@@silberkatze2326one of the characters is known for saying yada yada yada
I never actually picked up on that before, that's so clever omg
She yada yada'd over the best part!
Just noticed that Bad Janet always appears behind you so you have to turn around
I love this show
So many good little things scattered through the show that make it great.
Janet never appears in front of anyone except Jason, everyone has to turn somewhat to talk to her, only for Jason does she appear directly in front. Master touch.
Does anyone else think that Vicky is a commentary on THAT person in your local theater group/ acting class that is just so... extra? Tiya Sircar deserves all the praise for making Vicky the utter delight she is!
100%, there's nothing else she could be
She did an incredible job with her character
Man, I was just watching the "Acting is reacting. And reacting, is *pre*-acting. And pre-acting? Well that's just being." bit last night and thinking that Vicky is one of the shiny little diamonds embedded in this show.
The way she casually drops ‘yadda, yadda, yadda’ right before saying she learned English from Seinfeld-that kind of layered humor is why this show is pure genius. Chef’s kiss!
I feel like even from the start its obvious she's the only demon other than Michael who fully embraced that his original neighborhoods system of torture is better than the old one, its no wonder she finds her place in the new afterlife system so well. People like Shawn were bored of the old way, sure, but right from the start she was fully committed to it. She even mentions she finds it fun and different, she never had a problem with the concept
Everyone else was complaining about having to repeat the failing experiment over and over instead of going back to the old system and she just wanted to act
@@scotsoulgem She is a STRONG, independent acid snake, in the skin suit of a STRONG, independent woman
True but the new system also allowed her to shine instead of just being one of the other demons.
Vicky is so evil yet amazing at being Real Eleanor. So many props to her.
fake eleanor was already such a good reveal, and she comes out all tattered and beat up 😭😭
Vicky is so extra, it's hilarious! She is VERY good at getting under everyone's skin.
Except Michael’s skin….remember she could never play a convincing Michael when she was literally under his skin (in a Michael suit)
"It's like you're begging me to tell Shawn that you're incompetent. BEGGINGGGG"
“Acting is reacting, and reacting is pre-acting, and pre-acting.. that’s just being.”
8:29 I like the detail of Vicky referring to Janet as an "it"
Vicky was my favorite demon. Whenever I hear the actress speak though all I hear is Sabine.
*Sabine* Wren from Star Wars Rebels if anyone is wondering.
Vicky is Sabine? huh never knew that
Bummed they didn't include, "I'm a strong independent acid snake wearing the skin suit of a strong independent woman."
just did maybe my seventh rewatching of the good place and vicky truly adds so much depth love her
ok but when’s the “Michael and Shawn being relationship goals for x minutes straight”
“straight”
Vicky feels very "Got my first big break on a CW show and now i deserve to be a movie star!"
I'd say she feels more like "got my first commercial and now I deserve to be a movie star"
@@TheMonsterYouCreated-u9l Pretty sure starring in a CW show is a sign you’re in TBP.
Vicky made us laugh, cry, and everything else.
The "Down under!" line is even funnier with no context
Yes! I have no idea how she kept a straight face saying that. I bet it's on blooper reels lol.
I am enjoying these compilations so much. It's just a matter of time before I'll have to binge the series for the FOURTH time!
I love how every girl wanted chidi and every guy and elenor wanted tahani
😭😭
Vicky is properly rated 😂
Agreed 😂
After seeing what a great job Vicky did as "real Eleanor" it's obvious that she was criminally underused in all the reboots. "Denise" really was a rubbish part.
Well- if only they had gotten to the arc planned for 80 years down the line- - -
I've watched this show at least 3 times, and I only now *just* realised how Vicky was subtly torturing Chidi in the first season... 👀🙈😂
What? The whole point of the first version was that the humans were being tortured.
@mikaelcyr3942 What can I say, I'm a slow learner... 🙈
"You don't keep a Ferrari in the garage."
Yes. Yes, you do. A Ferrari is terrible as a daily driver.
Acting is reacting, and reacting is pre-acting, and pre-aciting... Well, that's just being.
She rules: make a Vicky Running Hell spinoff immediately
It would’ve been cool if Vicky was an actual human who got looped in with everyone else, but I think her as a demon is also extremely good.
“I love you! No need to respond.
But at some point, you’ll respond…right? NO RUSH”
Upon rewatching, the Real Eleanor character is so exquisitely devilish, I can believe that I didn’t see the twist coming a mile off 😂
Total crush for me!
Janet's mleh response is just so ... idk i giggle everytime
She is that snake 🐍 like??? ✨️✨️💅💅💅
"What the here, dude?" - Ha!
the yada yada and learning english from seinfeld... very nice
Should have known she wasn’t the real Eleanor, the hands of the woman in the memory at the beginning was white
wow i honestly forgot about the whole real eleanor thing
i love the good place
Indian Eleanor I need in my life, so god damned gorgeous
i forking LOVE HER
7:53 I didnt got this joke the first time
15:56 That little cringe react from Janet is great, even though I think Vicky's line is actually cool.
Mark S is acting like an Egan in this show
as she should be (I'M KIDDING)
Vicky is bae 😍
I remember Tiya Sicar/Vicky so very well.
I feel like if torturing them by having other people do it they should have remade Versailles. At its height the rules of educate became a cult and everyone was going insane trying to follow them. But well if you just have some demons in there, you can randomly change things and make everyone uncertain about the rules that there always in a state of anxiety trying to follow.
not sure why the good place channel is posting again but im not complaning!
Tiya Sircar isn't that short at 5 foot 3. But she still looks tiny _even in heels_ next to Ted Danson's 6 foot 2.
Sabine Wren is hilarious
Tiya Sircar is an absolute smokeshow
No your Sabine Wren 😂
perfect woman right there
Did Vicky make this video?
The creator cannot state anything as under or over rated
Vicky was Convincing as real Eleanor. Chidi was kinda touture Vicky in egg scene.
I mean the point was to make him feel guilty
No such thing as too much Tiya Sircar,
It was a little sad that she was the most major character to not get a goodbye moment at the end.
I got 8 ADS!!!! They made this unwatchable
« You don’t keep a ferrari in the garage »
Ferris Bueller would agree
So underrated I actually have no memory of that character 😮
...how? The "fake Eleanor" bit was a central focus of late season 1, and her blackmailing Michael is what forced him to stop the reboot cycle and team up with the humans in season 2.
@@pat2romeI saw the episodes once and remember basics only, no details
@@batgurrlto quote Eleanor: “YA BASIC”!
