Its a nice channel and honestly I think it gives some people hope that the next generation isn't as messed up as we sometimes think it is. It's refreshing to see such an awesome work ethic and family support. Above and beyond that, it's just interesting to see how much work it takes to help put food on our tables and I hope your channel helps people to realize how valuable all of you farmers are and how much you feed the world. Just out of curiosity, I am wondering what age you are and when you knew you wanted to continue the family business ??
Also, would love to see more about what is done with the milk after you have milked the cows. Do you get a truck daily and do you ever get to see how it is processed once it leaves the farm ???
Reciprocated to you, your family, friends and neighbors who do so much in farming for so many. You endure much work, hardships and stress others will never appreciate. It sickens me to know of drones instead of worker bees in the beehive of life. Work hard and hard work will be its own reward.
I grew up on a small farm,I miss it dearly.I so often wish my kids could have the same childhood experience.I could watch this all day lol. Thanks very much.
I grew up on a grain farm and we had actual time off after harvest. My cousin grew up as a dairy farmer, his family never had any time off and after watching these videos I think we all know why now.
I really appreciate your videos. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Colorado and miss the work. It’s all work at some time, but your videos are great. I’m a Neurosurgeon now, and watching you and your attitude is refreshing. I work daily, with people who view their jobs as far more drudgery. Thanks for taking the time and I wish you, your family, and your dairy well.
This isn't farming per se but Hoof GP out of Scotland recommended this channel and he's also an excellent follow plus he's got a drone so you get to be envious of the rolling fields of Scotland.
this is real work right here everyday get up at 330AM-4AM and get going all day until the job is done. great work bro this takes a whole lotta dedication
I am Thankful for you. Your channel was sent to me while I was experiencing some of life's inevitable suffering and connecting with you has brought me a measure of comfort. Thank you, God bless you, your family, & all of the animals in your care.
We started using a lot of probiotics when we run our cattle through the shoot. Has made a tremendous difference in keeping our cow calf pairs healthy. I love learning about your operation. Keep up the great work man.
Heck yea, I work on a dairy farm milking for 4 days a week and I’m 15 I enjoy it but sometimes it’s frustrating, however you are my inspiration, so thank you.
482 is a happy cow,1st in 1st out. Same thing when i milked a very long time ago,had a cow who always came in with 2nd string and always had 1st stall and always turned her head back and looked at me every time.. oh the memories of milking days.
i worked on a dairy farm down here in nc for 2 years that what we used my father in law worked on it for 21 years and its the best thing they found over that amount of time keep up the good work
Nice dairy operation. It's obvious you guys make it a priority to provide cow comfort and take pride in it. That's the first time I've actually seen a water bed in operation. Just a thought, if you have the feed ready for the cows as they exit out of dairy parlor it should help with mastitis cases as they will go directly to the mangers to eat which will allow their teat sphincters to close before laying down. It would also give the cows more opportunity for rest time. Keep the videos coming. I enjoy them!
Memory flash back when you said Good Morning Ladies , I always said that back on the farm when it was my turn to milk the cows in the morning . Small family farm 6 cows milked by hand many many MANY years ago .
Who is the tool that gives him thumbs down? Must be someone with no concept of the value dairymen and farmers contribute to our lives. Thank you for such fantastic videos. Our first cow in the barn was Sunny, every milking and first to eat also.
The funny thing is several fairly big youtubers have said in live chats that the algorithms dont distinguish between like and dislike, it just notices that you clicked Lol.True or not I dunno,
What a great farming channel. I know your parents must be proud of you. You are a very intelligent highly motivated hard working young man. Thank you for taking time to share this part of your life with us.
I always enjoy your videos Eric. My sister has also become a fan of your channel. We grew up on a dairy farm ( though much smaller scale) & enjoy your cows & the daily routine you share. Thank you!
if you have problems with mildew growing at the bales of hay or any bale you have, you can use empty wooden pallets at the bottom. So the bales don't touch the ground. Keep up the good job very nice videos!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Another great video and they are a pleasure to watch. You and Dad are excellent cow men and your cows show it. Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving to your family! Thanks for making the videos, love watching! I have to admit I used to buy almond milk sometimes in the past but I don't do that any longer! I appreciate all our dairy farmers hard work! Now I just eat almonds! Have a great day tomorrow!!
Interesting how # 482 leads the way The channel grows because of the excellent presentation o with good explanation of the work process. Welldone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you & your family 🐄 🐄 🐄 🐄 🐄
Wow, busy fellow....i thought I had a lot to do back in the day with hand milking 6 cows am and pm. Thanks for sharing ...sweet stuff for this old guy.
I like what you are doing. I watch your videos all the time. I like the way your farm is set up. Sometimes I would like to get back into farming, but it is hard to find anything to rent. I like the way you and your father take care of the farm. If possible, can I tour your farm when I am down that way.
Nice to see a young man that nows how to work without having to hear alot of griping of "how long how much " never mind getting up before 4 am . Go 482
Great videos, you're not too far from where I live. Consider cutting the strings off your hoodie, would hate to see them get caught in a PTO or other machine. Keep up the good work!
There is zero danger with his strings. He's hooking up the power take off to the spreader and its obviously not engaged or else he wouldn't have his hands anywhere near there. Let the farmers be farmers
I love the fact your cows get to spend at least some of their lives at pasture. We live 1/4 mile from a dairy farm, not one calf, heifer, or cow has ever spent anytime outside that barn complex since it was built, 30 or so years ago.
That's how I start feeding with a skidsteer and a small mixer now I'm mixing with a mini loader from CAT and a big mixer from MAYERS I mix 9 loads every morning I have been doing this for 8 plus years still loved nice vid
Love your channel, even with only few cows, I use lime coating in stanchion along with shavings, I do measure - head to tail so very little manure can be at ending. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for sharing your daily life on large operation.
My first glance at your thumbnail picture to lure us hucksters to your site was I sawr a pump pumping grain instead of water into a trough. I was half asleep and so I blink my eyes and see a skidsteer dumping grain into a grinder.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well. Really love your videos, and to see how you take good care of your animals. Keep up your great work. Greetings from south Sweden
I live in western Wisconsin and it just snowed, it’s my steers first winter. I come home an there all jumping all over the place and it was the funniest thing ever
Eric - How do you track milk production per cow? I dont see you key any ear tag information into the milk station. Want to make sure 482 gets full credit for her efforts.
482 now will have an agent that will demand better feed and a premium stall since they should be considered an “influencer” now! 😂 🐮. I’m going to show my teenage kids your feed to show how hard work and dedication build character. 💪
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I am thankful for all of you who watch, I'm amazed how much this channel has grown in a year.

I am super impressed that such a young man would accept working so hard to support his family, business and himself! Well done sir!
I grew up on a small farm,I miss it dearly.I so often wish my kids could have the same childhood experience.I could watch this all day lol. Thanks very much.
Why would you even want to dislike any of this hard working inspiring young mans videos
I grew up on a grain farm and we had actual time off after harvest. My cousin grew up as a dairy farmer, his family never had any time off and after watching these videos I think we all know why now.
I know right !
But some people don't agree with what happens
Ive said the same thing. Its nice to see hard work and dedication still exists with people my age
Vegans
It really makes me happy to see that there are places existing where everything is so nice and peaceful like on your farm 🙃
I really appreciate your videos. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Colorado and miss the work. It’s all work at some time, but your videos are great. I just love 482’s face she looks so friendly!! Nice video thanks 😊
I love your channel. Probably the best farming channel I’ve seen on RUclips.
Wow thanks, a lot of great farming channels out there.
This isn't farming per se but Hoof GP out of Scotland recommended this channel and he's also an excellent follow plus he's got a drone so you get to be envious of the rolling fields of Scotland.
The fact that he feeds his cows before himself in the morning shows what kind of man he really is. Tremendous
Like the ending, leaves us hanging in suspense.
RIP gopro
"I love leadership in an animal!" Lol! # 482--- that's YOU he's talking about!
Casey and Sasha are beautiful cows 😂 they are my favorite breed
this is real work right here everyday get up at 330AM-4AM and get going all day until the job is done. great work bro this takes a whole lotta dedication

Wonderful! If it is in your comfort level, I would love to see you at meals and meet your workers and your family. You do wonderful work, thank you!
wow, that's an awesome day! Thank you for sharing! One often doesn't realize what it takes when you drink a glass of milk

Like the normal day things and what you go through. Keep it up
#482 is that kid in grade school that somehow managed to be first in line every day in the lunchroom.
We love you guys and are thankful for your good need. It's contagious! Happy Thanksgiving
New subscriber! Loved the video. What an excellent work ethic you have! God bless our farmers and ranchers. ❤️🇺🇸

I bet they drink almond milk 🤢
The funny thing is several fairly big youtubers have said in live chats that the algorithms dont distinguish between like and dislike, it just notices that you clicked Lol.True or not I dunno,
What a great farming channel. I know your parents must be proud of you. You are a very intelligent highly motivated hard working young man. Thank you for taking time to share this part of your life with us.
I love the cow who is the leader of the pack. I guess she is an example of the origin of the word 'bossy'.
I always enjoy your videos Eric. My sister has also become a fan of your channel. We grew up on a dairy farm ( though much smaller scale) & enjoy your cows & the daily routine you share. Thank you!
Awesome clean operation you have. I milked cows many years back in the day, Thanks for the videos.
I think you’re the hardest worker onRUclips, we live in Eastern Pa., your area is beautiful 👍👍
That heifer feed belt thing is like something out of a horror film.
It’s really good what you’re doing with your RUclips channel it creates awareness on how people’s dairy products get to them.
Good on you!
You are a hard worker and that is a rare thing these days. I appreciate these videos and I love chocolate milk.
HI GUYS! Glad to see a farmer from Pa. really close to home like your videos. And a happy thanksgiving to you and your family.thank you!
Nice operation you folks have.. things have certainly changed since my days forty + years ago..
if you have problems with mildew growing at the bales of hay or any bale you have, you can use empty wooden pallets at the bottom. So the bales don't touch the ground. Keep up the good job very nice videos!!
You should introduce the people who help you.. the young lady who helped you milk etc
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Another great video and they are a pleasure to watch. You and Dad are excellent cow men and your cows show it. Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. You had an excellent year here on RUclips. Thanks for sharing the life of a Dairy Farmer

You are such great help for your Dad.
Great video. You are one hard working dairyman. Blessings to you and yours.

Happy thanksgiving down south , that cow is like clockwork lol, great video, I guess now it’s daily chores till spring,
Nice farm you got there i was farmer for 22 years and we used heat treated sawdust and staldren disinfectant powder for the cow stalls
I certainly admire your work ethic. Thanks for your vids very informative.
You can always feel that first sip of coffee go down and touch your soul lol at least I can
15:00 your one of the best hay stackers i have ever seen
You need to post more!! I really enjoy watching these types of videos!!!
I do remember this job I do miss it a little God bless you
Great videos, you're not too far from where I live. Consider cutting the strings off your hoodie, would hate to see them get caught in a PTO or other machine. Keep up the good work!
I worried about that too.
I too saw them hanging a little to close to the PTO.
There is zero danger with his strings. He's hooking up the power take off to the spreader and its obviously not engaged or else he wouldn't have his hands anywhere near there. Let the farmers be farmers

It's like harvest moon but very real. Great job sir!
Love your channel, even with only few cows, I use lime coating in stanchion along with shavings, I do measure - head to tail so very little manure can be at ending. I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for sharing your daily life on large operation.
There’s always the few that know what’s going on, what to do and what not to do. We had a few of them too.
My first glance at your thumbnail picture to lure us hucksters to your site was I sawr a pump pumping grain instead of water into a trough. I was half asleep and so I blink my eyes and see a skidsteer dumping grain into a grinder.
I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! I really love your videos! You're a natural 482!!

HI Eric ! Wishing you, your wife and the whole family a Blessed Thanksgiving.
eric, we tried all types of bedding but sawdust and lime is the one that works the best for us.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well. Really love your videos, and to see how you take good care of your animals. Keep up your great work. Greetings from south Sweden
WOW!! Loved the ending!! I screamed for your camera! : )
I really enjoy watching your videos & your content is great. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos.Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
I live in western Wisconsin and it just snowed, it’s my steers first winter. I come home an there all jumping all over the place and it was the funniest thing ever
I love your videos , # 482 is my favorite cow . You take good care of your animals . You have a beautiful farm . Happy Thanksgiving !
Your videos keep getting better and better. 482 is a good cow!
Eric - How do you track milk production per cow? I dont see you key any ear tag information into the milk station. Want to make sure 482 gets full credit for her efforts.
When i was working in a farm we had chips implanted that automatically detects the cows that come for milking
482 gets you tube time
Once a month we put units on the milkers and get a measurement and sample from each cow.
482 now will have an agent that will demand better feed and a premium stall since they should be considered an “influencer” now! 😂 🐮. I’m going to show my teenage kids your feed to show how hard work and dedication build character. 💪
